Abhay Verma

Founder

Abhay started BossPRTeam in 2017 and still leads strategy and the client relationships that matter. His background runs across real estate, manufacturing and agency work — which is why most of our campaigns are built around what a sales team can actually close, not what looks good in a report.

Swastik Gaur

Swastik Gaur

Chief Executive Officer

Swastik runs the company day to day — delivery, production and the standard the work goes out at. He came up through the creative side, editing video and designing campaigns, so he reviews work the way a client sees it rather than the way a checklist does. Once a project is signed, it runs to his schedule.

Venissa D'Costa

Venissa D'Costa

Business Development Manager

Venissa handles new business. She is usually the first person a new client speaks to — working out what the business actually needs before anything is quoted, so the scope we propose matches the problem rather than a package.

  • New business and enquiries
  • Discovery calls
  • Proposals and scoping
  • Client onboarding

The founder's story

I started BossPRTeam in Kanpur in 2017. At that point I had already worked inside businesses — real estate, manufacturing, and on the agency side — and the same thing kept happening in all of them. There was a real product, real customers, and a marketing budget going out every month that nobody could account for.

The first clients were small: a jeweller, a retailer, a clinic. None of them needed a brand campaign. They needed to know which of the things they were paying for brought someone through the door, and which ones did not. That question turned out to be the whole business.

What running other people's budgets teaches you

Most marketing fails long before the ad goes live. It fails because nobody agreed what a good result looks like, because the creative was made for the brand rather than the buyer, or because the enquiry landed somewhere nobody was watching. Fixing the ad rarely fixes any of that.

So we changed how we start. Before anything gets built we go through the site, the ads and the social the way a buyer would, and write down what is losing enquiries. Some of what comes out of that is uncomfortable to read. It is also the cheapest work we do, because it stops money being spent on the wrong thing.

Moving to Dubai

Today I am based in Dubai and most of our new work is here, while design, video and development run from our team in Kanpur. That split is deliberate. It means a client gets someone in their own time zone who can sit across a table, backed by a production team large enough to actually ship the work — and a quote that usually comes in under a comparable local agency.

Nine years in, the thing I am proudest of is not the client list. It is that most of the people on it stayed, and that when they introduce us to someone, they describe what we did rather than what we promised.

What we are building

BossPRTeam is being built as a company with systems, not a business that depends on me personally doing everything. Swastik owns delivery. Venissa owns new business. My job is strategy, the clients who need me, and making sure the standard does not drop as we grow.

If that sounds like the kind of team you want handling your marketing, the fastest way to find out is to send us your website and tell us what is not working.
